Assistant Regulatory Affair Manager

Business Unit: Marketing
Report to: Senior Training & Education Manager 
Position Purpose: Ensure the regulation compliance of the company, to build up Blackmores professional and high-quality image in front of government and industry, and to support the business healthy development. 

Key Responsibility:

    • Regulation Guide and Consultant:
        ◦ Key Task:
            ▪ Implement and assist to lead the product filing and registration work, including food, health food, infant formula and cosmetic products; work closely with headquarter QA team and domestic agencies 
            ▪ In charge of the daily regulatory work, including but not limited to the products label review and drafting, provide regulation support to operation and sales team for products importation and CIQ/custom approval.  
            ▪ Assist to assess compliance of food/health food market publicities and marketing activities, ensure compliance of whole process 
            ▪ Assist the PR and legal department to deal with food legislation and related issues
            ▪ Provide regulatory guidance to relevant departments to compliance with food safety law and relevant food regulations.
            ▪ Keep abreast of regulatory knowledge and share knowledge with all relevant departments, Propose and implement validate actions plan in response to regulatory changes and update

        ◦ Performance Indicators:
            ▪ Ensure regulatory compliance of recipes, specification and labelling Compliance with legal, statutory and corporate requirements
            ▪ Ensure the compliance of market publicities and marketing activities
            ▪ Ensure related department and person got the right and in-time regulation support

    • Domestic Quality Control 
        ◦ Key Task:
            ▪ Responsible for the quality control of the domestic management to ensure the compliance with government requirements
            ▪ Enrich and improve the current quality control system and related documents. 
            ▪ Ensure the quality control process was implemented regularly and appropriately 
        ◦ Performance Indicators:
            ▪ Improve and maintain domestic quality control system 
            ▪ Ensure the quality management can meet related government requirement

    • External regulatory affairs & Relationship development
        ◦ Key Task:
            ▪ Participate in working groups assigned by industry association, and communicate with relevant authorities and government department. 
            ▪ Assist to establish a good relationship with supervision government , and actively participate in the government led regulatory activities.
        ◦ Performance Indicators:
            ▪ Maintain good working relationship with all levels of industry associations and peers, and actively participate in related activities

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 
Essential: 
    • Bachelor degree or above in Food Science, Food Engineering or related major.
    • At least 2 years work experience in international company of food/health food industry, including 1 year work experience in regulatory department
    • Have a thorough understanding of China food related laws and regulations, familiar with the importation regulation on novel food, health food and Infant formula 
    • Strong communication skills
    • A good team player 
    • Fluent English Speaking & good writing
Desirable:
    • Familiar with food production license audit and Australia TGA regulations
    • Creative thinking with business sense on recognizing the potential opportunity/risk

Ast. Digital Marketing Manager

Business unit:  Marketing

Reports to:  Media & Digital Marketing Manager

Position Description: To deliver Blackmores business objectives and profit targets, effectively and constantly build up Blackmores as the leading Australian healthcare brand across all digital touch points

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
    • Develop social annual strategy and content plan, daily manage social accounts with agency focusing on brand, core products and relevant trend topics
    • Develop SEM/SEO & CRM yearly plan, ROI target setting & monitoring and budget allocation
    • Assist Digital Manager to develop, implement, track and optimize our digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels; aligned with brand strategy and integrated in comprehensive 360 campaigns
    • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
    • Collaborate with marketing team on design and production of digital marketing collaterals e.g. promotional image, website, campaign ads and landing page, etc.
    • Identify digital trends and emerging technologies to execute in digital marketing projects and keep brand in the forefront of digital marketing

Requirement

    • 3+ years’ experience in digital marketing, minimum 2 years’ experience to manage Weibo & WeChat accounts. 
    • Familiar with web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Baidu Tongji) and experience in Search Engine Marketing (Baidu, 360, Google, Bing), best practices definitely a plus
    • Curiosity towards market landscape, emerging trends and industry prospects.
    • Advertising agency or lifestyle brand experience a plus. 
    • Fluent in mandarin Chinese and English
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and self-motivated.
    • University degree or above.

Marketing Activation Manager

Position Description: 
Accountable for the planning, development, and execution of marketing activations for both online and offline. Working closely with marketing manager, this role will contribute to shape brand activations, resulting direct implications to consumers via the touchpoints.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
    • Support yearly Brand Campaigns such as Regional Proposition Campaign/ BSRF/ etc.
    • Accountable for planning & develop activation yearly plan supporting the overall brand strategy and objectives. Examples including but not exclusive to types of activations: pop-up store/ live streaming/ events/ conventions/ POSM designs
    • Lead and deliver each activation with clear and aligned KPI under independent budget ownership.
    • Responsible to measure, report, and assess results with implication of future of each activation.
    • Assist Marketing Manager in overall branding related planning to develop, implement, track and optimize across activation related scope
    • Clear understanding and advocate of the brand
    • Co-work with marketing team in on designing & production of activation related outputs & communication collaborations
    • Perform other duties as assigned

Position Description: 
To deliver Blackmores business objectives and profit targets, effectively and constantly build up Blackmores as the leading Australian healthcare brand across all digital touch points

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
    • Work with line manager on develop overall digital strategy on EC channels, define the roles of each platform and explore data-driven approaches to whole China business
    • Manage brand's official account on Red book platform on annual strategy development and daily content generation with agency support. 
    • Develop content seeding plan on both Red book & Kaola platforms, and be sensitive enough on emerging e-marketing trends 
    • Work closely with brand & product team to manage the content of the EC platforms and make sure the platforms are suitable for brand image at the same time have e-commerce usability 
    • Lead top level EC campaigns incl. super brand day, double 11 & 618 promotion 
    • Taobao brand zone daily operation with TP support

Product Manager 

Business unit: China Marketing

Reports to: Marketing Manager

Position purpose: The role is accountable for the management of the products for Blackmores in China – specifically the development and execution of (i) profuct portfolio strategy; (ii) product communication; (iii) product performance tracking & action plan accordingly; and (iv) other duties assigned.  
On a day to day basis this role requires the close management of the product porfolio, pricing, advertising, research, competitor tracking, and promotional activities. Working closely with marketing manager, this role will shape strategy direction of product porfolio, which will have implications for comms and NPD as well as the existing products.
